Chris Han Spring 2009

NEW YORK, Sep 16, 2008 / FW/ — Day to evening dressing never seemed so effortless with Chris Han’s Spring 2009 collection. Elegant, sleek and sophisticated combined with an ultra feminine edge gave way to a smart mixture of crisp clean lines and soft silhouettes.

Delicate details such as flowy fringes, cascading drapes, shiny binding and a touch of sparkle here and there found their way on an array of pencil skirts, slouched necklines, flounced sleeves and frilly dresses that took the 9 to 5 working woman straight to cocktail hour.

The color palette for this collection mainly consisted of midnight black, stark white and a variety of neutrals ranging from sand to mustard to olive with punches of color such as soft coral and light aqua on cottony, gauze-like even linen fabrics. Mostly solid colors and a few tie-dye and floral prints where the majority was showcased on sheers, silks and satins.

With this collection, Han has made it simple for women to be comfortable, chic and stylish during the daily grind of the office and the unwinding time after hours.
