NEW YORK, Sep 28, 2009 / FW/ — Officially a part of the WANT IT! Campaign, the Designer Series store windows at Saks Fifth Avenue which were on display during New York Fashion Week featured the works of well-known designers from both side of the Atlantic.
The sign says that there were 49 designers who were featured and they included Monique Lhuillier, Zac Posen, Alexander McQueen and Martin Grant among others.
Again, the message is strong, which is, high fashion is still about fashion designers.
And, though the current economy has made owning luxury items an illicit affair, the store windows at Saks Fifth Avenue proclaims that high street fashion is alive and thriving.
