DALLAS, Nov 13, 2009 / FW/ — While other labels are closing locations in Asia due to the recession, Roberto Cavalli is doing brisk business as attested with the opening of the first Roberto Cavalli boutique in Tokyo last September.
Located at Shinjuku Takashimaya, one of the largest luxury department stores in Japan, the boutique was designed by Roberto Cavalli himself along with renowned Italian architect Italo Rota, displays cutting-edge structural technology in harmony with tactile textile elements.
The boutique, covering 32.2 square meters, is located on the 3rd floor of the luxurious Shinjuku Takashimaya and houses all the Roberto Cavalli women’s collections including accessories, sunglasses and jewelry along with some accessories for men.
To celebrate the opening of his first boutique in Tokyo, Roberto Cavalli has designed some limited-edition items to be available exclusively at the Shinjuku Takashimaya boutique.
These special pieces include a tote bag and wallet in the Roberto Cavalli’s signature animal print in silver.
