MADRID, Apr 6, 2010 / — For Fall 2010, Adolfo Dominguez returns to the 1980s with the use of fabrics with more body, weight and shape, compared to previous collections.
His fashion show is dressed in crêpe, moiré, alpaca and knit, materials which, when combined with silk, achieve a light-filled, enveloping effect.Gathers are used constantly.
The colour palette has become colder with the return of blue shades in his evening wear range. Greys evolve to bluish leads and earth colours invade the runway. Organic colours predominate ranging from olive green and terracottas to a more mineral range evoking the colours of emeralds and quartz.
