NEW YORK & TOKYO, Nov 9, 2010 / — Last night, in an invitation-only event, Calvin Klein opened its first multi-brand pop up shop in Tokyo, Japan.
The two-story, temporary retail shop features highlights of the Fall/Winter 2010 Calvin Klein Collection, ck Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Underwear and Calvin Klein Home lines, as well as a series of limited edition ck Calvin Klein gold products, in time for the holidays.
The shop is located at 6-7-1- Jingumae, Shibuya-ku and is now open to the public through Sunday, November 21st from 11:00 to 20:00 daily.
The store was opened last night with an exclusive VIP event attended by prominent artists, architects, musicians, models, actors, and editors, as well as soccer great, Hidetoshi Nakata, who is currently featured in the Calvin Klein Underwear advertising campaign.
The invitation-only event was hosted by the company’s award winning creative directors – Francisco Costa (women’s Calvin Klein Collection), Italo Zucchelli (men’s Calvin Klein Collection), and Kevin Carrigan (ck Calvin Klein, Calvin Klein Jeans) – as well as the company’s President & CEO, Tom Murry.
For the evening Calvin Klein Collection wardrobed Hidetoshi Nakata, Yoon, Emiri Miyasaka, Amy Kuroda, as well as models Tao, Nanae Ubukata, Thaissa, and Tayane. For the evening ck Calvin Klein wardrobed Hiromi Kitagawa, Anna Umemiya, Yasuyuki Maekawa, Liza, Diego, Cosmin, and Atsushi. Other notables in attendance included Shinichi Ogawa, Verbal, Maki Tamara, Waka Inoue, Candle June, Yoshiyuki Konishi, Jante Morning, and models Rira, Kassia, and Juliana.
