NEW YORK, Mar 31, 2011/ — Vintage-inspired with a contemporary edge, the new clothing line Ainsley mixes modernity with history.
Debuting in stores this fall, Ainsley’s initial offering of over 40 silhouettes will be limited edition pieces that will retail from $210 to $900.
The designs are original and fresh with unmistakable allusions to classic British tailoring and bohemian androgyny. Channeling the style of the Annie Hall-era Diane Keaton, Ali MacGraw, and Bianca Jagger, the collection turns back the hands of time to the iconic 70s era.
Fur-trimmed jackets, distressed leather vests, high slit maxi skirts, and cable knit sweaters. Using luxe materials like cashmere, leather, silk, moleskin and wool – Ainsley emerges as a fashion-forward brand focused on quality and individuality.
Already creating a buzz in the fashion world, Ainsley has been featured in Woman’s Wear Daily, Teen Vogue, and Us Weekly. Also, Ainsley’s Eliza Fur Jacket, made of 100% faux yak fur, was seen on actress Taryn Manning at last February during the Fall 2011 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
A division of the cashmere company Qi, Ainsley was created with the concepts of style, quality, and durability in mind.
The brand will be available in select stores across the nation and on www.AinsleyNY.com this fall.
