PARIS, Jul 5, 2011/ FW/ — Inspired by the Greek goddess Antheia, one of the Charities or Graces, Georges Hobeika paid homage to the “the goddess of flowers and flowery wreaths worn at festivals and parties” by sending a collection that translates the essence of a flower’s perfection and its gracious strength.
Using micro-pleating and ruching, the designer paid homage to Antheia by expressing the goddess in every woman – mushroom pleats and romantic lace accent layers of fine organza, crepe and georgette that are presented in emotional hues of purple and pink melted into clouds of moon grey that paint an October sunset.
